Dr.Ritu Rani

I am Dr Ritu Rani, an Ayurveda academician, educator, and researcher with a specialization in **Dravyaguna Vigyana**. I hold a Ph.D. in Dravyaguna Vigyana and have over seven years of teaching experience. My academic journey has been driven by a strong interest in Ayurvedic education, medicinal plants, pharmacognosy, drug standardization, and research.
I have been actively involved in **teaching, academic coordination, research coordination, examination-related activities, NAAC work, innovation initiatives, and institutional research**. I have also guided CCRAS-SPARK research projects focusing on medicinal plant diversity, ethnobotanical documentation, and standardization and quality evaluation of Ayurvedic formulations.
My research interests particularly include **medicinal plant identification and documentation, Ayurvedic drug standardization, quality control, shelf-life studies, ethnobotanical research, and integration of traditional Ayurvedic knowledge with scientific research methodologies**.
I believe in creating a learning environment where students can understand Ayurveda through both its classical foundations and contemporary scientific perspectives. I am passionate about teaching, research, academic development, and contributing to the advancement and wider recognition of Ayurveda through meaningful academic and research work.
