M.Sc. Medical Technology-(Anesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology) is a postgraduate science degree (2-year course).This is a professionally oriented degree program that specializes in the Anesthesia essential in surgery, emergency rooms, and intensive care units. Affiliated with I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University Jalandhar. This course teaches professionals who assist with anesthesia management and monitoring of anesthesia and have a thorough understanding of anesthesia techniques, technology, accessories, products, and instruments.

Admission Eligibility Criteria

The minimum education requirement shall be:

  • Passing of B.Sc. (Medical Technology-Anesthesia & Operation Theatre) or Bachelor Degree in any science discipline.
  • Candidates with 50% marks.
  • 5% relaxation for SC/ST.
  • The candidate shall be medically fit.

At the end of the program, the student will be able to:

Have a lifelong knowledge of Anaesthesia, Surgery & all the Equipments used in it along with basic knowledge of applied science.

Anesthesia & Surgical Technicians/Assistants will work in Operation Theatres, ICUs etc. along with Anesthetists and Surgeons & thus will be having a great & important role in Healthcare.

After completion students can go for Academics as well by joining different Colleges and Universities as Lecturers/Tutors.

This Program will build technical knowledge in the student so that he/she will be able to assist an Anesthetist/Surgeon in every aspect of Anaesthesia, Surgery & other related fields.

Visit sgcollege.edu.in/ SGCADMIT. Sign up or register with basic details (i.e. name, email id, mobile no., state, gender, and password). Login to the SGCADMIT with an already created username/ password. * Your email id will act as your username for the portal while the password will be set by you upon registration.

Step 2 – Counselling

Upon successfully clearing the PPMET exam, you have to apply for counseling through your SGC portal, followed by SOP uploading.

Step 3 – Admission

You become eligible for admission into Saraswati Group of Colleges after the declaration of counseling result and submission of requisite fees.
