About
Dr. Sunil Sharma is an Ayurvedic academic and Dravyaguna Vigyana professional with an M.D. in Dravyaguna Vigyana and a B.A.M.S. from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dravyaguna at Saraswati Ayurved Hospital and Medical College, Gharuan, Mohali. His areas of professional interest include medicinal plant identification, pharmacognosy, microscopy, pharmacognostical research, pharmacovigilance, and experimental studies. He has experience as a medical officer and has participated in various national seminars, CME programmes, workshops, conferences, and research activities. He has published more than 15 articles and has authored three books related to Ayurveda and Dravyaguna Vigyana. He is particularly interested in teaching, research, exploration of Ayurveda, drug identification, medicinal plant studies, and the development of academic resources for Ayurveda students.
